About
The Dal Games Expo is a yearly event every September (20th and 21st this year) attended by over 600 first/second-year Students and interested community members to try out Dalhousie’s physical and digital gaming societies in a fun, welcoming, and low-commitment environment. We have grown tremendously in our first two years from a rag-tag group of 4 societies and about 300 attendees to 10+ societies, 600+ attendees, and full support from many sponsors like you. This year we plan to grow larger and more impactful. That’s why we are partnering with Dal Giving Smiles to donate all excess funding and donations to help improve the lives of children battling cancer at the IWK Hospital.
What We Can Offer
Combined Reach of 10+ Dal Societies
Participating societies will be posting all materials, including our sponsors, on social media and around campus. Targeting students on campus directly through those posts, friend to friend advertising, and other advertising. View participating societies.

Potential media coverage
Last year we unexpectedly ended up with some Dal news media coverage. This year we are going out of our way to contact news outlets and Halifax institutions to make our event, and its sponsors, known throughout the HRM.

What You Can Offer
Funding
Help us with various costs that come with organizing a big event! Any surplus funding will be donated Building Smiles.
Prizes
We host many competitions with prizes, we can tailor prizes to include your products and give more participants something to congratulate their performance!
Event support
We are looking for event support such as talks, workshops, and hardware rentals to help our event run smoothly. As well as participation prizes (like small coupons) to give to everyone who participates to enrich the experience further.
